Summary: Roslyn Rensch-Erbes is a prominent harpist and historian, best known for her books about the harp, "The Harp: Its History, Technique and Repertoire" (1969) and "Harps and Harpists (1989). The University of Illinois Library houses a large part of the Roslyn Rensch Harp Collection. Included are correspondence, programs, research notes, as well as a number of scrapbooks which contain a wealth of information. There are also a number of books, music, and recordings. The contents of the Rensch Harp Collection can be found by searching the University of Illinois Music Library database, available on the web.
